My name is Julie Starns, I have been a qualified early years educator since 1989.  On 1st September 1993, I moved my existing Montessori nursery into the premises and took up residence in The School House as my family home. Within six months, the nursery facilities were extended to offer full day care for children from 6 months to 5 years.

Sunrise Langley is based in a charming Kentish ragstone building; the building has provided a place for education since 1854.

I manage the Langley setting on a daily basis offering full year childcare catering for children from 6 months to 5 years. Sunrise is built on the ethos that every child matters and is different. Our aim is to provide an environment where we can unlock the unique potential of each child. Our dedicated team work together; recognising and valuing play as the basis for delivering a journey of learning and, therefore, building a solid foundation for children in their early years.

We expanded our provision in 2011 to include our setting at The Station House, Harrietsham which is on the station premises. Please see our Harrietsham page for more details.
Our team will establish a relationship with you and your family; please know, however, that although I manage the Langley setting, I work closely with the team and am often at Harrietsham and always happy to hear from all our parents.  For more details about our setting please go to ABOUT US.
